Description of Work:
The Wall of Voter Suppression speaks to the different experiences people have when it comes to voting. Some are on the side of the wall where they don't have to face many obstacles while others are on the other side of the wall struggling to make their voice heard.
Artist’s Bio:
Michelle Mejia Levy is an upcoming artist and high school student. She has liked drawing ever since she was a little kid but decided to get more involved in it in middle school. Around that time she also began to test out painting and worked on seven pieces for an immigration project she did titled, Latin American Immigration: The Hard Truth. She has done small pieces as gifts for her family and has continued to improve her art skills. She looks forward to improving her art and searching for ways to get it out into the world.
